"Dear Guests and Business Associates,

I have spent great effort in order to establish an Automobile Industry in my country. As you know, through our cooperation with the FIAT Company we built the Murat car. I am extremely happy for being the leader of the first Automotive Industry establishment in Turkey. Our FIAT partners have given great support in this success.

The car can survive through the Components Industry. MAKO, with its production range, is the largest components manufacturer for the running, support and development of the car. We laid the foundation of this company on the 24^th of June, 1970 and made it operational in February, 1972 it is a big success to start production in such short time of 21 months.

Our colleagues in Magneti Marelli have their share in this success because of their great efforts. Since the day I became the Chairman of this Company until today, we have had a very close cooperation with them. This Company today has very important role in the Automotive Industry of Turkey.

I have done my best until now, and from now on we pass the job to our young friends. I believe that they will be successful and will improve the business. I too will spend all possible efforts for the improvement of Mako as long as live."
